Another historic milestone was reached when Jason was named 2004 WORLD BOWLER OF THE YEAR by the World Bowling Writers Association - then only 21 years old, Jason was the youngest bowler, and still the only Australian male, to win this prestigious Award.

  • Series competition 238 average for 8 games at 14 yrs of age – Not beaten
  • 2000 first Junior Australian to shoot 300 overseas, winning Aus$15,000
Named as SPORTS PERSON OF THE YEAR for the third year since 2002 and winner of the Orange ‘Outstanding Achievements in Sport’ Perpetual Trophy in July 2006.

2002 & 2003 SPORTS PERSON OF THE YEAR – ‘Outstanding Achievements in Sport’
Perpetual Trophy by City of Orange.
2004 AMF BOWLING WORLD CUP – Lead qualifier for the event – never lost the lead in five days of qualifying – knocked out in quarter final.
Won the prestigious 2004 WBW World Bowler of the Year Award – voted by the Board of Directors of the World Bowlers Writers Association.
To date bowled 25 PERFECT 300 GAMES, including a 300 bowled during Matchroom World Masters in England, televised live to air and syndicated internationally via SKY TV and FOXSPORTS.
One of 16 bowlers from around the world invited to compete in the WORLD MASTERS in England televised tournament by MATCHROOM – finished third in 2005 and quarter finalist in 2006
Made history by bowling first 300 game in the Matchroom World Masters in 2005, and still unmatched in this event.
2005 Inducted into ORANGE SPORTING HALL OF FAME. 
2005, February – Winner – South Australian Cup.
2005, March – Winner – KUWAIT INTERNATIONAL OPEN.
March 2005 – 2nd place to Hall of Fame pro bowler David Ozio at Las Vegas High Roller “A" Game.
May 2005 – Invited to tour Japan with American pro bowlers – only amateur included in STORM Fair 10-day exhibition tour.
June 2005 – Champion Brunswick Perth Tenpin Cup.
September 2005 – Winner of Sharp Champion of Champions tournament, bowling two perfect games during event.
October 2005 – Australian National Championships Interstate Teams Trophy – highest average (235), broke record for highest number of strikes and No. 1 position in “All Stars” team.
2006 - 1st place – Brunswick Euro Challenge, Greece, a ‘major’ on EBF Tour.
2006 - Back to Back wins – 2005 and 2006 of Kuwait International Open
May 2006 - History-making lead in the European Bowling Tour Men’s Rankings (first non-European bowler to achieve this feat).
2006 - Back to Back wins – 2005 and 2006 Perth Tenpin Cup, Australia.
July 2006 - Named as SPORTS PERSON OF THE YEAR and winner of the ‘Outstanding Achievements in Sport’ Perpetual Trophy by City of Orange.
