FINLAND:
The winter months of this Scandinavian country can be extremely harsh to those who are not used to it. When I went the first time I was extremely lucky and the temperature never rose higher than 5 degrees Celsius, usually it gets to -20 or sometimes even worse.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
The people are a funny kind of people. You never really know if they love you or hate you. The sense of humour of the Finish is a very dry wit and when you raise a smile usually you have done well.
In saying that, once you get to know them, they are a bunch of crazy and wild people. Their open minds (to which thy always speak of) lets you know exactly how they are feeling about anything.
The Finish language is impossible to understand or read. English is not spoken to well by many so if you are lost in Finland, it may take you a while to find your way home.
Some of my best friends live in Finland so this ensures I'll be back to visit.
