GREECE:
If history is something you enjoy, and learning about the gods and legends Greece is the place for you. The myths of the gods are fascinating to learn about. Each story told more exciting than the next. When visiting the Parthenon you get an overwhelming feeling that the gods are looking down on you and people like Hercules did exist.

Another amazing site is seeing the original running track for the modern Olympic Games. Closing your eyes, you can almost hear the cheers of the crowds as the athletes ran, jumped and threw their way into the record books.
Everything in Greece opens a little late, so feel free to sleep in most mornings, but like anything that starts late, they finish late too. Eating dinner after midnight is not uncommon and most restaurants will stay open during the week till 2am catering for the public.
Smoking and coffee go hand and hand here so if you like both, you feel right at home.
