Filipino’s are the craziest people I know. Normally the roads have white lines on them to distinguish who is in what lane while driving. NOT HERE, they are merely there for decoration.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
The traffic light colour meanings are completely different to Australia. In Manila, Green means go fast, Amber means go faster and red is optional.
The first thing I do when I jump into a car anywhere in the world  is strap myself in with the seat belt, in Manila if possible I try and use two seat belts.
The cost of living here is extremely low, kids walking the streets late at night begging for any coins you don’t want and people working for minimum wage doing anything they can to make a few dollars to feed their families.
Although the weather is quite warm and humid you need to bring a light coat with you everywhere you go. The air-conditioning is pumped up to the max and it’s very easy to catch a cold going from hot to cold so frequently.
English is widely spoken so getting around and entertaining yourself is no worries. Plus the Filipino Paso is extremely weak compared to almost every other currency.
