Australia and the UK have a couple of similarities. We both have the same queen and we both drive on the left side of the road. Everything else is completely different.
English men in particular love to hate Aussies. Same as us Aussies love to hate the English. Deep down though I know we all love each other, but it’s that fun rivalry that makes travelling the UK so much fun.
Constant bickering about each others cricket, footy and soccer teams makes for a great night of debate.

Sterling is one of the most beautiful small cities I have ever been too. Home to the famous monument of William Wallace (which I am sure we all know better as Braveheart). If you ever get the chance to go there make sure you see the replica sword of William Wallace, its massive, plus the rest of the monument is extremely informative and interesting.
SCOTLAND
The Scottish accent is so hard to understand I feel like I said the word “huh” every 5 minutes haha.
To an Aussie, understanding fluent, fast spoken Scottish is like trying to understand one of your mates when he is so drunk even he doesn’t  know what he is saying. All I did for the first few days there was nod my head and said yes. Not sure what questions I was saying yes to, but the locals seemed happy with my answer.
Sterling is so green, the hills that run around the city are stunning and when the wind blows the grass makes the hills look like waves breaking in the ocean.
Scotland is home to some of the most amazing castles, some castles built so strong and smart, invasions seemed impossible to break through.
The Scots love to have a few pints, so be sure to have a few drinks to blend in with the crowd.
Scotland is a wonderful place to visit and I recommend it to be seen by everyone.
