Get back up
September 10th, 2011
I bowled in Korea couple weeks ago. Prior to that event I had busted my behind to work on my game and make sure I was not only ready to compete, but be a threat to the leaders. The weeks and weeks of early morning wake ups to train, dedication and time I spent making the new changes to my game feel ‘normal’ did not have the effect on my game as I thought they would.
I’ll tell you, it’s hard to bowl bad and not make the cut and get over it when you didnt prepare yourself at all, it’s even harder to get over it when you know how hard you worked and how much preparation you did leading up to it.
So how do I deal with the knock out punch to the heart after working...

KOREA:
I flew to Korea for 2 reasons. The first was to do some coaching clinics with Sean Rash and Parker Bohn on a few US Military Bases. Sean, Parker and I had a really great time working together. Both guys are funny and have a bunch of stories to tell. Most days we discussed the PBA Tour or bowling in general. It’s nice to talk about our game in a positive manner and both these guys...

Best Day of My Life
January 6th, 2010
Hey hey everyone,
For as long as my heart beats, January 2nd, 2010 will forever be one of the most
proud moments in my life – Once a bub in side my wonderful wife’s belly, is now a
bub who entered the world with eyes wide open and a pair of lungs Pavarotti would of
been proud of.
Weighing 9lbs 14.5oz, standing 53cm tall and wearing a pair of deep
blue eyes, Aria Rose Belmonte became our first child.
She also became the first grand child to both my parents and Kimberly’s Parents and she became the first niece
to Kj’s brother and his wife and my sister and her fiance.
As first time parents, we have been thrown into...

Wanna see me bowl on TV?
November 25th, 2009
If you live in the USA, at 1pm Eastern Time on ESPN, you can watch me try and win my 2nd PBA title.
This years the shows are much different. They have better graphics on screen, the camera angles are better and on top of all this, the players are able to talk to the commentators during the match.
Rob Stone and Randy Pederson talk with me about certain frames, moves and ball choices. So it gives you guys at home a understanding of whats going on in our heads (the players) during the match.
This a ground breaking idea not just for the PBA and bowling, but there is NO OTHER sport in the world, where you guys at home can hear what we the players are thinking during a match...

Staying put for a while!
November 23rd, 2009
Right now I should be in the USA, New Orleans to be exact bowling with Chris Paul and other American celebrities. But due to a ankle injury in Chris Paul’s last NBA game, we have had to postpone the event for a 2nd time.
This is very frustrating, especially when booking travel from Australia to go over there. But it’s no ones fault and I have to be a big boy now and take it on the chin.
Good news though is I get to stay home and be with my wonderful 8 month pregnant wife. Not long now till I’m a daddy, so the window for me to be immature is closing by the day haha…….but the reward of maturity is AMAZING. A little bub to look after and a new step...
